Thalassaemics’ Welfare Association of South Kolkata (TWASK) is a not for profit charitable society established in the year 2019, in order to work towards the effective management and cure for thalassaemia patients and also towards an ultimate goal of thalassaemia prevention and eradication in West Bengal by the year 2025. We are registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 (Societies Registration No. S0006409 of 2019-2020).

Thalassaemics’ Welfare Association of South Kolkata has been formed by a bunch of young adult thalassaemia patients and some of the parents with the sole objective of fighting against thalassaemia effectively and addressing the various issues of patients living with Thalassaemia in West Bengal, using a patient-oriented approach.
